CALENDER CONTEST
Just submit a picture of your Japanese Chin.  We will select one
winner every month, who will be featured on our 2010 calendar.  
Each monthly winner will receive a free, 2010 Japanese Chin
calendar in December of 2009.

Pictures used for calendar must be at least 3 mb in size.  Pictures
also must be ones you have taken, and cannot be copyrighted.  
Winners will be notified via email, and photo and name will
appear on this page.
February Winner
We just HAD to give this one to Gary and Virginia (and
Picasso, Pearl, Chase and Foxy) in New Hampshire.  
This is a picture of a snow maze, Gary made for the Chins to
play in!  There are paths and little cubby-holes here and
there and everywhere .... A true winter wonderland for any
Chin! Talk about creative exercise!  Can you imagine all the
places for a Chin to explore?
Gary & Virginia, you guys ROCK!  Any Chin who has you
guys as 'parents' is a very lucky Chin indeed!!  
This month was a difficult choice as we had so many great
entries...but when it came down to it, we could not resist little
Boo soaking up the heat (just the way that Chins do) from
her mama's laptop.  We think she is 'recharging' -  lol !!!
One things for sure......AKC CH. Kelaury Xanadu, better
known as Boo....sure is a pretty girl!  Congrats Carol, and
thanks for sharing this gem with us!

If you happen to be owned by a Chin, then you already
know how much they adore the sunshine.  Nanette
captured a moment of pure bliss for beautiful little
Jasper....soaking up the rays.  He looks so content. The
way we all feel that very first warm, sunny day in spring
when the sun hit our face!!
This picture reminds us of one thing that is pretty
unique to this breed.  Japanese Chin LOVE other
Japanese Chin!  They are usually very loving and
tender towards each other.  When 1 is not feeling
well, the other will be right there to offer comfort.   
This picture of Tater and Kimiko sure shows that!  
Owner Nancy L. says they are truly soul mates!

these 2 must be a 'Chin Ball' when sleeping.

Well little Gabby knows just how to enjoy the
spring.  This little girl loves her time on the beach,
and apparently knows just how to find those
clams!!  She is a lucky girl as she gets to go with
dad to work everyday, and also gets lots of beach
walks and tons of attention!  
Oh -- the life of a Chin!

Well.....what can we say.
That Kai is a curious little Chin?  That Kai is
absolutely adorable?  That the  "what the
heck?" expression on Kai's face is priceless??

Seymour Alfano crossed Rainbow Bridge this year,
but we thought this wonderful picture was just
perfect for the start of football season!!  Seymour,
you are missed by your family.  Thanks Lindsay for
