RULES FOR NON-PET OWNERS WHO VISIT AND LIKE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT OUR DOGS

1. They live here....you don't.

2. If you don't want hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture.

3. We like our dogs more than we like most people.

4. To you it's a dog. To us they are adopted sons and daughters who are short, hairy and speech challenged.

Dogs are better than kids. They eat less, don't ask for money all the time, are easier to train, usually come when called, never drive your car, don't drink, smoke or use drugs, don't worry about the latest fashions, don't wear your clothes, and don't need a gazillion dollars for college.

A LOVE LETTER FROM YOUR DOG

People think that dogs can't smile

But we can, and often do

Every time you smile at us

Our hearts smile back at you

People don't know that dogs can love

But our Doggie Love is true

Whenever you speak to us with love

Our love goes back to you

And for those folks that wonder

If there is a special place

Like the heaven that you speak of

That Human Kind will grace

Well God created you and me

And in his master plan

I have to think he would include

One who is best friend to man!

So don't worry about me dear humans

Cause I'm happy as can be

To have lived my life so filled

With the love you showered on me!

And when you get to heaven

After you enter in the gate

You will see me bring my favorite toy

And I will wag my tail and wait.

If there's a separate heaven

Where doggies go and stay

Just know that I'll be happy there

Where I can run again and play
